In order to protect your security, we use the strongest available browser encryption and store all of our data on servers in secure facilities. All data is only accessible to our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee's termination.

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

idStudios Pty Ltd. (doing business as and referred to in herein as “OnRamp Academy”) provides the services described herein to you (”you” or “your” or “member” or “customer”) on the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). When you book a OnRamp Academy tutoring session or receive any OnRamp Academy services you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

General 

Upon booking OnRamp Academy services are not transferable to any other person or entity. OnRamp Academy reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any OnRamp Academy services, booking and/ or membership for any reason, including without limitation if a member has displayed unreasonable behavior; is deemed to be violent, abusive, or disruptive; or has otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.

You agree and understand it is necessary for OnRamp Academy to collect, process, and use your data in order to perform the service and support. Members will also receive periodic membership-related emails from OnRamp Academy, such as notices regarding updates to your account and changes to OnRamp Academy services. You may also receive requests to participate in customer surveys. OnRamp Academy will protect your information in accordance with OnRamp Academy’s Privacy Policy, available at OnRampAcademy.com/policy. If you wish to have access to the information OnRamp Academy holds concerning you or if you want to make changes you may contact OnRamp Academy at contact@onrampacademy.com.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, without regard to conflicts of law principles, and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of New South Wales, Australia. OnRamp Academy reserves the rights to substitute, cancel, or add to any part of the Terms and Conditions or end the offer at any time without notice.

 

Service Terms 

OnRamp Academy services consist of Personal Tutoring Sessions. OnRamp Academy services are subject to availability of OnRamp Academy staff. OnRamp Academy services are for adults over the age of 18. No individuals under 18 will be served. OnRamp Academy online services are conducted over the internet using Zoom and/or FaceTime and require screen sharing. ONRAMP ACADEMY SERVICES ARE EDUCATIONAL IN NATURE, AND WHILE TUTORS MAY IMPART GENERAL TECHNOLOGY TROUBLESHOOTING STRATEGIES ONRAMP ACADEMY SERVICES DO NOT INCLUDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT OR TROUBLESHOOTING OF PROBLEMS OF ANY KIND.

 

Personal Tutoring 

Personal Tutoring services are intended for informational purposes only. This service is done using your own smart phone, tablet or computer. Personal Training sessions are individual sessions between the customer and a OnRamp Academy employee or contractor. Reservations for Personal Tutoring are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis; therefore, OnRamp Academy makes no guarantee as to the minimum number of sessions you may be able to book. Members must book their reservations online using the OnRampAcademy.com  scheduling system. The system shows up to 14 days of availability. Personal Tutoring sessions start promptly at their scheduled time and instruction ends 50 minutes later, allowing up to 10 minutes for wrap-up. Arriving late to a Personal Tutoring session may result in its cancellation or rescheduling. OnRamp Academy reserves the right to change or cancel the date or time of any Personal Tutoring session at any time, including replacing personnel who may be scheduled to deliver the session.

OnRamp Academy Personal Tutoring sessions are conducted in English, and relate to the default function and capabilities of Apple’s iPhones and iPads running iOS15.1 or later, and Apple’s Macintosh computers running macOS12.1 or later. Tutoring on any apps or function not included with Apple’s operating systems is not guaranteed. Tutoring on topics related to social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Mastodon etc.) is not included. Tutoring on the specific function of specific websites is not guaranteed. Tutoring on any topics related to personal information of any kind, such as password management, online banking or online services is general in nature, and may not address your specific use cases.

 

To participate in an OnRamp Academy Personal Tutoring session you must have:

  • an Apple iPhone or iPad running iOS15.1 or later OR an Apple Macintosh computer running macOS12.1 or later, AND

  • a reliable internet connection, AND

  • an email address set up on your device that you can receive email at.

 

Pricing and Payment

One (1) OnRamp Academy online Personal Tutoring session consists of a 50 minute learning period + 10 minute review & wrap up (60 minutes) costs $90AUD. 

One (1) OnRamp Academy in-person Personal Tutoring session consists of a 50 minute learning period + 10 minute review & wrap up (60 minutes) costs $115AUD.

All sessions require staff approval prior to booking. Payment will be charged to your credit card upon approval of booking. 

 

Cancellations

Cancellations prior to 24-hours before the session time will be refunded. Cancellations within 24-hours prior to the session time will be credited. Cancellations within one hour prior to the session time will be credited 50%. No shows will not be refunded or credited.

Data Protection and Authority 

OnRamp Academy is not liable for loss or corruption of any data or any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information or removable media. YOU SHOULD REGULARLY MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF YOUR DATA, REMOVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY, OR PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND DISCONNECT MEDIA OR DEVICES SUCH AS HARD DRIVES, CDS, DVDS, PC CARDS, OR FLASH DRIVES.

If any OnRamp Academy service involves accessing, using, or transferring data stored on your smart phone, tablet or computer you represent that you have the legal right to access, copy, or use any such data and to permit OnRamp Academy to do so, and authorise any such use by OnRamp Academy. You also agree that if any OnRamp Academy service involves installing software on your smart phone, tablet or computer, you have the legal right to agree to the terms of any applicable software license and authorize OnRamp Academy to accept such terms on your behalf in performing the services.

Warranty 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all OnRamp Academy services, including any documentation, publications, or other information provided therein by or on behalf of OnRamp Academy to member, are furnished on an “AS-IS” basis without warranty of any kind as to its accuracy or completeness. THE WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, AND REMEDIES CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS,TERMS, UNDERTAKINGS, AND REPRESENTATIONS. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, AS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONRAMP ACADEMY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, TERMS, UNDERTAKINGS, OBLIGATIONS, AND REPRESENTATIONS RELATED TO OR ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, CARE, SKILL, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No OnRamp Academy employee or agent is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

Certain legislation, including the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth), may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligations upon OnRamp Academy which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. These Terms and Conditions must be read subject to these statutory provisions. If these statutory provisions apply, to the extent to which OnRamp Academy is entitled to do so, OnRamp Academy limits its liability in respect of any claim under those provisions to at OnRamp Academy's option (1) the supplying of the services again; or (2) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Limitation of Liability

ONRAMP ACADEMY AND ITS AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE ONRAMP ACADEMY TUTORING PROGRAM OR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA, OR THE FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA, OR ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONRAMP ACADEMY AND ITS AFFILIATES’, EMPLOYEES’, AND AGENTS’ TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THE ONRAMP ACADEMY TUTORING PROGRAM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR ONRAMP ACADEMY TUTORING SESSIONS.
